The Boston Chapter of the UNH Alumni Association is pleased to announce the date of our next UNH Executive Forum Thursday, September 25, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Boston's Omni Parker House Hotel.
The UNH Executive Forum was created to attract senior-level UNH alumni in an effort to raise the profile and visibility of the university and its alumni in the greater Boston area. Through the forum, we will host quarterly breakfast meetings to introduce timely topics relevant to the greater Boston business community.
With that in mind, we will focus on sustainability at our September gathering. We are thrilled to welcome UNH alumnus Robert Varney '77, Regional Administrator for the Environmental Protection Agency, who will lead our discussion on this important topic with Tom Kelly, Ph.D., UNH Chief Sustainability Officer and Director of the University Office of Sustainability and Cameron Wake, Ph.D., Research Associate Professor at UNH specializing in regional climate and environmental change - two nationally recognized leaders in sustainability and climate change. UNH's efforts around sustainability are at the forefront nationally and Robert will enlighten us on the EPA projects going on in the Boston area and region and the tremendous positive impacts these projects will have on these areas.
