About Carbon Solutions New England (CSNE)

CSNE is a public-private partnership based out of the University of New Hampshire to promote collective action to achieve a low carbon society. CSNE achieves this through conducting independent analysis and research and communicating its findings to key decisionmakers.

Scientific evidence is clear that we must achieve an urgent and unprecedented level of carbon dioxide emission reduction over the next decade to begin to stabilize our climate system.

New England with its forward looking stance, such as being part of the only GHG cap and trade program (RGGI) in the nations, is uniquely positioned to serve as a learning laboratory for the nation of different GHG reduction strategies.
